Our award-winning suite empowers organisations to attract, develop, and retain the best talent — combining data, learning, and behavioural insights into one seamless platform. The goal is to link employee performance to business outcomes. We are a technology company, not just a company that 'does technology'. Our software is used by millions of people every day. We build it ourselves, we own it entirely, and the people who lead that work have real influence over how it evolves. Come build, grow and make a difference!

The Role

Build the website that drives growth. We’re looking for a technically strong web developer to own and evolve our website as a key driver of demand generation, conversion and revenue. This isn’t a traditional website maintenance role. You’ll be responsible for building, improving and optimising the digital experiences that turn visitors into pipeline. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Revenue and Product teams to deliver high-performing web experiences, while using AI tools and experimentation to accelerate delivery and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and ongoing improvement of our WordPress website

  • Create reusable components that enable faster campaign execution
  • Improve site performance, accessibility and reliability
  • Ensure best practice front-end development across the site
  • Improve conversion and user experience
  • Optimise key conversion journeys including demo requests, content downloads and lead generation
  • Build and launch landing pages quickly to support marketing campaigns
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation
  • Improve forms, CTAs and user flows
  • Partner with Growth and Content teams to improve website effectiveness
  • Own analytics and tracking
  • Manage website tracking and measurement
  • Ensure accurate data flows into HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Monitor user behaviour and identify conversion bottlenecks
  • Maintain reliable reporting from traffic through to pipeline
  • Support SEO and discoverability
  • Own technical SEO implementation
  • Improve site structure, page performance and crawlability
  • Support SEO and emerging AI search strategies
  • Ensure the website is optimised for both traditional search and AI-driven discovery
  • Use AI to move faster
  • Use AI tools to accelerate development workflows
  • Support AI-driven testing, personalisation and optimisation
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
  • Help embed AI into marketing execution and experimentation

Skills, experience and behaviours

  • Advanced WordPress development skills
  • Experience building performant, accessible websites
  • Experience implementing analytics and tracking solutions
  • Understanding of technical SEO best practices
  • Experience working with APIs and marketing technology platforms

Nice to have

  • A/B testing and experimentation experience
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with AI tools for development and optimisation
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS websites

The person

You’ll be someone who:

  • Thinks beyond code and understands how websites drive business outcomes

  • Enjoys testing, learning and iterating

  • Works effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Is excited by how AI can improve delivery and performance

What success looks like

  • Higher conversion rates across key website journeys
  • Faster delivery of landing pages and campaigns
  • Reliable tracking and reporting from visitor to opportunity
  • Improved website performance and technical SEO
  • Greater use of AI to accelerate experimentation and execution

How to prepare for a job interview at Kallidus Ltd

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Kallidus Ltd uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
