A global SaaS company, having had continued phases of growth is looking to expand their UK sales team by hiring an experienced Account Director. If you have a background in SaaS start-up/scale-up environments with a proven track record in managing mid-market to lower enterprise accounts then this could be your next role. Here you will be managing some of their most high-profile existing customers and be responsible for retaining and expanding the annual revenue across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts through strong relationships and strategic account planning.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise revenue within set portfolio.
  • Collaborate with customer success and professional services teams to drive product adoption and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Leverage data to monitor account health and identify areas for expansion.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, solving problems and driving long-term customer success.

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience in account management or customer success (with a focus on cross sell/upsell and retention).
  • Must have experience working for a SaaS company - non negotiable.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders in enterprise environments.
  • Autonomous worker, comfortable in a remote working environment.
  • Previous experience within a start-up/scale-up company is highly advantageous.
  • Commercial acumen and experience driving account annual revenue.
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to account planning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working with various teams within the company and your customers.
