Kaleidoscope is a sustainability and business resilience foundry helping high-growth organisations design and scale business models that are both profitable and purpose-driven. We sit at the intersection of sustainability strategy, climate innovation, and inclusive leadership, working with builders, educators, and coalition-builders to embed equity and resilience into the green transition.
We are already working with key clients while raising investment to scale an AI-enabled tool that makes sustainability decision-making smarter and faster.
We are looking for a driven, analytically minded sustainability professional to join our advisory team. This is an opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is serious about sustainability and wants to build expertise in a fast-moving, commercially focused consultancy environment.
You will work closely with senior advisors and client-facing teams, providing the research and analytical foundations that underpin our work. You will engage with clients, interrogate complex regulatory and ESG frameworks, and translate depth into actionable insight. Over time, this role offers a pathway into senior advisory work and research leadership.
What you’ll do:
- Support senior advisors on live client engagements across sustainability strategy, ESG, and climate transition.
- Research and analyse emerging sustainability regulation and policy.
- Translate technical sustainability frameworks (CSRD, TCFD, GRI, SFDR, SBTi, SDGs) into clear, usable insight for clients and internal teams.
- Prepare research briefings, analytical outputs, and presentations for client meetings.
- Participate in client interactions and build confidence engaging with diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Contribute to thought leadership, sector insight, and internal knowledge resources.
- Support market research and internal business development activities where relevant.
Who you are:
- Master's or PhD in sustainability, environmental science, climate policy, environmental economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Up to 1–2 years of relevant experience: internships, placements, or early-career roles in sustainability, corporate ESG, climate research, or strategy.
- Solid working knowledge of major ESG and sustainability frameworks and the global regulatory landscape.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with clear and accurate written communication.
- Commercially curious, you understand how sustainability translates into business strategy.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively in a small, fast-moving team.
- Confident engaging with clients and senior stakeholders.
- German language proficiency is a strong advantage.
Why join us:
- Play a meaningful role in shaping Kaleidoscope's client delivery and research backbone.
- Work on high-impact sustainability challenges with clients across sectors and geographies.
- Be at the frontier of sustainability strategy with direct exposure to our AI-enabled decision-making tool.
- Gain rapid exposure to both strategic advisory work and client relationships from day one.
- Join a collaborative, expert team that values intellectual rigour and commercial clarity.
- Remote-first role with flexibility across the UK, Europe, and India, and opportunities for international exposure.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
