Engineer with a passion for engineering enterprise-grade web3 platforms using cutting-edge tools and practices.
The successful candidate can own end-to-end challenges that span across code, architecture, and infrastructure, and is a highly skilled coder who loves to dive deep to solve hard problems and drive scalable implementations.
Day to day, you will be working alongside Design and Product Management to develop Kaleido’s industry-leading web3 asset platform, and you will participate in the open-source Hyperledger Firefly community.
You will also work with Kubernetes operators and other tools to power scale and automation of the Kaleido platform across its core Saa S microservices, web3 blockchain infrastructure, and more.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a scalable, readable codebase, focusing on high-quality, maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and product, to swiftly deliver innovative features and ensure exceptional user experience.
- Drive technical direction for new projects and features, contributing to architectural decisions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations for technology selection.
- Mentor team members, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Your experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS or Azure or demonstrates extensive knowledge of modern Infrastructure as a Service (Iaa S) platforms.
- Experienced in developing and delivering production applications focusing on outstanding user experience.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices in a global setting.
- Familiarity with Golang.
- Experience building low-latency micro-services using Node. js and Express.
- Experience building large-scale applications for production.
- Blockchain experience is a plus, but not required (we will train you!)
- 6+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining enterprise-grade cloud-native Saa S solutions.
- Experience deploying and managing applications with Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
