The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Assistant Content Director to join our founding team. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape content strategy and production from the ground up, eventually progressing toward a senior leadership position.
What You’ll Do
- Plan & Produce: Collaborate on scripts, filming, editing, and post-production of courses, videos, and social media.
- Social Media Management: Assist with the running of Kalda’s social media presence on both Instagram and Tiktok, facilitating in our online growth.
- Take Ownership Over Time: Manage each stage of content creation, working closely with scriptwriters, therapists, and freelancers—overseeing projects from initial idea to final launch.
- Build a Talent Network: Recruit and lead a pool of freelance talent to flex up or pivot quickly as our content demands evolve.
- Icons & Influencers: Explore brand collaborations and sales opportunities involving icons and influencers who align with our mission.
- User Research: Gather and analyze user feedback to ensure our content resonates with the needs and experiences of the queer mental health community.
- Team Leadership: Participate in, manage, and oversee end-to-end production cycles, mentoring new hires as you rise through the ranks to more senior content roles.
