Kälafornia is seeking a UK-based Business Development Manager / Strategic Account Manager to represent our expanding medicinal cannabis supply platform across the United Kingdom and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to join an established international B2B medicinal cannabis business with existing supply relationships, proven export capability and a rapidly growing portfolio of premium medicinal cannabis products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships and supporting Kälafornia's continued growth across the UK and European medicinal cannabis markets.

The Opportunity
This role combines business development and strategic account management responsibilities. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities while also nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships throughout the UK and European medicinal cannabis markets. As Kälafornia's first dedicated commercial representative in the region, you will play a key role in driving growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and establishing a long-term presence across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities across the UK and Europe.
- Build relationships with licensed medicinal cannabis companies, distributors and pharmaceutical partners.
- Manage and nurture existing customer relationships.
- Present Kälafornia's product portfolio and supply capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal supply chain, quality and compliance teams.
- Represent the business at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events globally.
- Provide market intelligence and commercial feedback to management.
- Support strategic growth initiatives across the region.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Based in the United Kingdom.
- Well connected within the UK and/or European medicinal cannabis industry.
- Experienced in business development, account management or commercial relationship management.
- Experienced within the medicinal cannabis industry or a closely related pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated industry environment.
- Skilled at developing strategic partnerships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Confident negotiating and building long-term customer relationships.
- Commercially minded, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Knowledgeable of medicinal cannabis market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Willing and able to travel for customer meetings, industry events and trade conferences.
