KAL Technology are based in Cannock close to M6 (WS11 1SN). We provide CNC sub-contract machining services predominately to the local fastener companies but also offer a wide range of machining services. We are a small team operating a mix of CNC lathes and vertical machining centres. We utilize Mazak machines and programming is done in Mazatrol. We are ISO9001 and have been trading since 2011.

Role: Setting and operating of CNC lathes and vertical machining centres. Setting of machines will include selecting and changing of jaws/collets, selecting, describing and installing of tools. Future training options include program modification and/or creation. We have 12 CNC machines and a typical day will involve setting and operating of machines as jobs progress through the shopfloor.

Working hours: 7am - 3:30pm. Competitive salary based on experience.

Experience: Previous experience in CNC lathe and/or mill setting & operating. Experience using measurement equipment including verniers, micrometers, thread micrometers and thread gauges. Mazak is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided on our machines.
