As the SEO Account Manager (Manchester), you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic SEO plans that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue growth for our clients. You will take a creative and commercial approach to managing both SEO projects, taking ownership of delivery against the plan and ensuring successful delivery of workloads to meet deadlines and targets. SEO Exec on your team (alongside the wider SEO team), you will support them, helping develop their skills through on-the-job coaching, support, and guidance. You’ll be highly enthusiastic about all things SEO and always looking for new innovations and best practices to share internally and with clients to continually improve current activities and future propositions. As an SEO Account Manager, exceptional operational, project management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and colleagues. Formulation, execution, and measurement of results-driven SEO strategies on your accounts Content strategy creation and implementation SEO Executive to a high standard, managing their time, professional development and quality of work Ownership of several key accounts within the SEO team Leading on internal training streams, lifting the team with your expertise Perform technical and content optimisation on client websites Identifying SEO performance gaps and competitive opportunities, prioritising against the client’s business needs Directing technical and content audits and driving the subsequent recommendations Directing monthly SEO reports and creating insightful next steps and information as required for the client Stay up-to-date on SEO trends and implement best practices.At least 3 years of experience in SEO, preferably with eCommerce or agency experience Experience in web design, data analysis, web development, or a related field is a plus, with a willingness to learn and adapt in technical areas Strong ability to navigate both technical and creative challenges, interpreting data insights to drive impactful strategies.
