We deliver award-winning strategies for global brands across multiple sectors, including Finance, Retail, and Travel. We’re looking for a curious and adaptable SEO manager to join our growing team.

The SEO Manager is responsible for delivering excellent results for our clients. You will own the delivery and planning of client work as well as the day-to-day client relationship. You will initially manage a team of one, with the potential to increase this as the team grows. You will report into the SEO Account Director.

Our SEO managers combine strategic independence, advanced search expertise, and commercial awareness with confident client handling to drive measurable performance and build long-term client trust.

Role purpose:
  • Become the go-to person for all search-related queries for your retained client accounts.
  • Translate search, market, and performance insight into award-winning strategies with clear recommendations, roadmaps, and client narratives.
  • Own planning, prioritisation, output quality, and reporting across retained accounts.
  • Identify opportunities and risks across retained accounts, escalating where required.
  • Mentor and develop team members while improving processes, standards, knowledge sharing, and ways of working.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads confident, compelling client communication, shaping narratives that connect insight, strategy, and outcomes.
  • Own roadmap and delivery planning across accounts, confidently prioritising deliverables, coordinating with other channels, resolving conflicts early, and maintaining momentum without compromising quality.
  • Maintain high delivery standards across accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to improve outputs, processes, and team performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders through proactive communication, acting as a reliable point of contact and channel expert.
  • Develop a strong understanding of your client’s wider business context and objectives beyond SEO.
  • Responsible for client account performance, delivering valuable and forward-facing QBRs.
  • Proactively identify and validate opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, or client value, shaping first-draft proposals with clear rationale, evidence, and strategic relevance.
  • Support growth of the agency offering by contributing to pitches, new products, services, propositions, and MVPs based on client and delivery needs.
  • Actively drive collaboration across channels and teams, improving ways of working and translating agency direction into practical SEO delivery implications.
  • Contribute to the wider profile of the SEO team through internal knowledge sharing, thought leadership, case studies, blog or LinkedIn content, and external activity such as webinars or training sessions.
Key Skills:
  • Strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of technical SEO.
  • German, French, or Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency with market-leading SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Profound, Authoritas.
