Are you a Business Development Manager looking for an opportunity to grow sales and develop long term relationships for a market-leader in providing engineering solutions to process and precision engineering industries, such as chemicals, oil & gas, instrumentation, and clean energy? My client is part of a distributor network for a global £multi-billion company that designs, develops, and manufactures mission-critical products, assemblies, and services, being the designers specification of choice. A highly profitable business with an exceptional reputation built over forty years, they have an ambitious plan to grow from circa £30m to £70m over the next decade.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will have strong long-standing customer relationships backed up by contract support and exceptional customer service. You will be home based, but as Business Development Manager with customers in North West England, you will attend regular customer visits across the region.
You will:
- Be an experienced Sales or Business Development Manager, selling engineering solutions to process or precision engineering industries, such as chemicals, oil & gas, instrumentation, and clean energy.
- Have a track record of developing new customers, markets and applications for established products.
- Be a driven sales professional who can demonstrate sales growth and results.
- Be a strong communicator and have excellent presentational skills.
- Be self-motivated, dynamic and passionate about sales.
- Have good analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
