The Role
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of security equipment such as alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, gates, and computer networks.
- Install new systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations.
- Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines.
- Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function.
- Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory.
- Work at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to work safely in a construction site environment is a must.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the security industry, with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access Control and Intrusion systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment is required.
- Comfort with working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
- High degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivated self-starter and effective team player.
- Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver's license.
This is a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Stratford, Prince Edward Island.
