Pediatric Personal Support Worker in London, ON.

  • Schedule
  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 07:00–08:30

  • General Duties
  • Provide G/GJ tube care and management
  • Maintain child's records and required documentation
  • Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
  • Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and Wee Care
  • Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
  • Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
  • Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
  • Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
  • Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of a certified Personal Support Worker program
  • Experience working with pediatric clients
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 6 months
