Position: New Business Development Manager\\n\\nLocation: Buckinghamshire, South West\\n\\nSalary: £DOE + new business bonus + car allowance\\n\\nCompany:\\n\\nPrivately owned, dynamic Packaging supplier with a variety of difference Packaging products servicing different applications and industries. Particular strengths lie in healthcare, diagnostic and pharmaceutical packaging.\\n\\nOverview of the role:\\n\\nWe are seeking an experienced, exceptional and driven business development manager to offer a unique consultative approach in assisting customers across Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Medical Device manufacturers. This role expects someone to sell a variety of Packaging products and it would be expected you target predominantly the UK however Ireland & European patches such as Scandinavia and other locations can be supported by the business units.
*Must be willing to work 4 days on site if not visiting customers* Work from home opportunities increase with proven time of service.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nNew Sales, Strategy & Growth: Key role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in predominantly the UK and Irish markets.\\n\\nClient Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through networking, lead generation, and referrals.\\n\\nMarket Expansion: Expand the company’s presence in the target regions by identifying emerging market trends and adapting sales strategies accordingly.\\n\\nCollaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.\\n\\nNegotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, securing deals that align with company goals and client expectations.\\n\\nTravel: Travel within the UK and Ireland for client meetings and industry events as required.\\n\\nFull product technical training will be given.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\nExperience in selling in to Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Diagnostics companies is beneficial and looked upon favourably\\n\\nPreferably Bachelor’s/master’s degree. A science or math’s degree would be an advantage due to the technical aspects of the Packaging products including barrier film protective packaging, pouches, dispenser machines & much more\\n\\n5+ years of experience in sales/business development.\\n\\nProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.\\n\\nStrong knowledge of the UK and European packaging markets, including key industry players and trends.\\n\\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.\\n\\nAbility to work independently while being an integral part of a cross-functional team.\\n\\nIdeally a proficiency with CRM software\\n\\nWillingness to travel and attending trade exhibitions when needed, must have a full driving licence
