Job Title: Digital Plate Planner / Digital QC Location: Greater Manchester Hours: Day Shift (8.5 hours inclusive 0.5 hour break), Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime as needed) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Digital Plate Planner / Digital QC operator to join a leading print and packaging company. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to prepare and plan plate files for our production department and quality check files for both Flexographic and Digital printing processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and plan plate digital files and proposals using Esko AE and Flexo Engine. Keep plate waste to a minimum by way of planning and utilising software. QC files to specifications and when required support Output and Artwork functions. You will Ensure all work meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Candidate Requirements: Experience with Esko Automation Engine and workflow systems is highly desirable. Proven experience as either a Digital QC or Reprographics Operator. Skilled in file preparation for both Flexo and Digital printing processes. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.Additional Information: The role offers a competitive salary based on experience. Working hours are standard business hours, with flexibility for overtime to support business needs.
