A leading supplier of the highest quality printed cartons is currently seeking an experienced Die Cutting Operator to run a Bobst Expertcut 106 with logistics, on a permanent night shift.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Die Cutter (essential).
- Have experience of Bobst, and preferably Iberica machines (or similar).
- Possess knowledge of safety, quality and continuous improvement techniques.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the machine.
- Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Have the ability to problem solve.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Have good organisational and self-motivational skills.
- Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have a flexible attitude towards working, including working overtime when required.
The position involves:
- Setting up your own machine.
- Running a Bobst Expertcut 106.
- Checking for possible defects in quality.
- Managing a schedule of work on a daily basis.
- Reporting all safety incidents.
- Completing daily inspections of your machine and reporting all potential maintenance issues to your Supervisor/Manager.
