A long-established and successful Corrugated Packaging manufacturer located in the West Yorkshire area is currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager role covering the Northwest region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and ambitious industry leader within the packaging sector. The company operates from a substantial, well-equipped manufacturing site in the North of England and has an established reputation for supplying high-quality corrugated packaging solutions to both local and national customers.
The role is newly created and will involve developing new business across the region while also managing a portfolio of long-standing existing customers. You will need the ability to engage confidently with businesses across a range of industries, identifying opportunities and introducing them to a broad portfolio of packaging products and services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven business developer who is keen to build their career within a vibrant, hardworking team. The business is part of a wider UK-wide network of manufacturing sites and has ambitious plans for continued growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities utilising our lead generation CRM, following up on enquiries, understanding customer requirements and working closely with designers, production, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide account management support to existing customers across your region.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and orders.
- Working in collaboration with colleagues, prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.
- Participate and engage in marketing and lead generation campaigns.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on opportunity pipeline and live accounts.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product lines, materials and production processes.
Experience Needed:
- Must have previous experience of New Business Sales.
- Must have previous experience in the corrugated / cartonboard industry.
- You must be able to demonstrate high proficiency in the full sales cycle & maintain a consistently high rate of activity.
- Highly skilled at cold calling, consultative selling & closing.
- Have experience account managing B2B services.
- You must be self-disciplined, shrewd & tenacious.
- Field sales experience.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong broad IT skills.
- Ability to adapt to new software & systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional & confident communicator.
- Willingness to assist in all areas necessary outside of normal duties.
