The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the HP Indigo 5500 digital press, ensuring all jobs are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working as part of a busy production team, you will play a key role in delivering customer orders on time and maintaining our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and monitor digital print equipment.
  • Ensure all jobs are produced to customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Monitor print quality and colour consistency throughout production runs.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
  • Manage workloads effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Work closely with our pre-press and finishing departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate production records where required.

Essential Requirements

  • Applicants should ideally hold a minimum HP Indigo Level 2 qualification.

  • Previous experience operating HP Indigo presses within a commercial print environment, including the HP Indigo 5500.
