Graphic Designer in the Large Format Print Industry. Based onsite in Farringdon. Reporting to Design Lead. Salary £30k DOE.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Design Lead you will be expected to accurately create artwork from concept or client's supplied files/instruction, follow the client's brand guidelines or design requirements, and ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for production according to the specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and a clean, creative design style.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to client guidelines.
- Ensure artwork interpretation is achievable within production constraints.
- Prepare accurate artwork from approved design and brief.
- Ensure client guidelines are followed.
- Develop and update master artworks and guideline documentation.
- Responsibility for ensuring account/project managers are kept informed of the progress of the jobs they are working on, and any impact there is to the production plan.
- Providing colour proofs/samples for client sign-off.
- To ensure that all images produced and proofed are correct and reviewed in accordance with the Artworks procedures.
- The ability to work on multiple projects, big and small, simultaneously and good time management.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven graphic design / Artwork background within the large format print or similar industry.
- A strong portfolio of creative designs.
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite software - Specifically Illustrator.
- Good understanding of large format printing processes and RIP Software would be beneficial.
- Excellent communicator.
