Salary: £16.30 - £20.35 per hour, depending on experience and ability to run additional machinery.
Working Hours:
- Double day shift pattern (9-day fortnight):
- Early Shift: Monday to Friday: 5:30am - 1:45pm
- Late Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 1:45pm - 12:00am; Thursday: 1:45pm - 11:45pm; Friday: Not required
All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Purpose of a Multi-Point Folder Gluer:
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Point Folder Gluer Machine Operator (Minder) to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality products at optimum machine speeds while minimising waste and maintaining excellent health and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an operator who takes pride in producing quality work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to continuous improvement.
What They're Looking For in a Multi-Point Folder Gluer:
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years' folder gluer operating experience.
- Experience operating Vega, Signature, Bobst or Diana folder gluers is preferred.
- Ability to achieve efficient make-readies and consistently meet production and OEE targets.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a production team.
Desirable:
- Experience producing:
- 4-corner cartons
- Crash lock cartons
- Bookwraps
- Corrugated envelopes
Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Point Folder Gluer:
- Set up and operate folder gluer machinery efficiently to achieve production targets.
- Produce work to customer specifications and approved samples.
- Ensure products meet quality standards while minimising waste.
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues promptly.
- Carry out daily machine maintenance and assist with planned preventative maintenance (TPM).
- Maintain a safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements.
- Lead and support assistants, feeders, stackers and packers.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards using 5S principles.
- Understand corrugated materials and identify material-related issues.
- Follow all production instructions accurately.
