Salary DOE
Hours - Open to any shift which suits (days, nights, double days, triple shift)

Overview - Safe and effective operation of HP Indigo press in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The position:
- Level 1 or 2 trained operator for Series 2 or 3 Press (Sheetfed or Web)
- Day to Day running and maintenance of the press
- Calibrate Press
- Replace consumables as and when required
- Identify Errors and Resolve problem using HP support if needed
- Replace broken/faulty parts
- Place service calls and liaise with HP support for engineers visits
- Load Jobs into Press
- Prepare Job for Print
- Adjust Job Colours to match pantone book on the HP DFE and re-rip the job as required
- Keep press and area clean
- Keep daily records relating to jobs printed
- Keep records of stock levels and re-order as required
Repro:
- Comfortable with operating Apple Mac Computer
- Familiar with Adobe software and Esko Software
- Able to adjust files
- Able to match jobs to customer supplied chromalins
- Step Artpro Rip files to produce starproof or plates
- Have a knowledge of the platemaking process
The Candidate:
- Press Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must have previous experience with HP Indigo Press
