Job Description
Experienced Flexographic Plate Maker / Plate Mounter\\n\\nDerby\\n\\nSalary: DOE\\n\\nHours – 3 shift Pattern 6-2, 2-10, 10-6\\n\\nBrief – We are seeking a fully experience people to fill the role of a Plate-makers and Mounters based on site. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have good organisational skills, be dependable, have good communication skills, be computer literate and be able to use their own initiative. This is a physically demanding job and will require lifting and carrying of plates on a daily basis.\\n\\nRoles & Responsibilities -\\n\\nResponsible for loading plates onto the machine, must be able to operate an exposure, washout, and Drying unit of the plate-making process\\nResponsibility for quality and making sure plates are produced to the required customer specifications\\nEnsuring quality control checks are performed and logged on the system\\nMust be fully skilled in the operation of of equipment and computers as required to be used in the Platemaking process.\\nMust be able to read and understand files for customer requirements from the company computer system\\nAbility to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines\\nquality and attention to detail with all areas of work is required\\nThe transportation of plates to areas within the siteExperience Needed:\\n\\nPreferably from a Flexographic Plate making / plate mounting background\\nWill consider someone from the Print industry who is keen to be trained up in this\\nPreferably someone from a flexographic print background but would consider someone from a lithographic background\\nAbility to do heavy liftingInterviews are being conducted as soon as possible for this vacancy, so if you are interested please get in touch as soon as possible and register your details with us\\n\\nPlease note; we will not pass on any of your details without prior consent
