The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Full time: 36 hours per week - Three 12-hour shifts per week rotating weekly. (Thurs/Fri/Sat - Sunday off - then Mon/Tues/Weds) Candidates may be required to work outside of these hours, when necessary, especially in busy periods.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Foil / Embosser to join a dynamic print team in Croydon. The company is a pan-European book printer and distributor with 17 manufacturing sites based across the UK, France, Germany, and Spain, who work in numerous markets, which include Trade, Academic, Educational and Professional publishers, along with Self Published authors. Their business is growing, and are now looking for energetic, creative and innovative team players to join the team!
The purpose of this role:
- To foil, emboss or deboss book covers or jackets according to the customers' requirements to the required standards in a timely fashion.
- To meet set targets and benchmarks issued as per set Key Performance Indicators.
- To carry out all operator machine maintenance schedules as described in the manual or company guidelines.
- To be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- To maintain a safe, clean working environment to aid efficient business processes.
Some of the key attributes we would look for:
- Foil and emboss experience.
- The ability to operate any equipment needed to produce work (Training may be required).
- The ability to follow instructions both verbal and written.
- The ability to communicate any issues or feedback information as required.
- The enthusiasm to meet targets set for performance.
- Be able to use and follow the Scheduling system.
- The knowledge of paper sizes & types.
