Purpose of an Adaptive Packaging Designer:

As an Adaptive Packaging Designer, you will play a key role in creating the foundations for successful adaptive rollouts, enabling the wider team to deliver outstanding packaging solutions efficiently and consistently. You'll also help mentor colleagues, improve workflows, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of adaptive design best practices.

Key Responsibilities of an Adaptive Packaging Designer:

  • Create and establish the foundations for adaptive packaging rollouts across multiple product ranges and formats.
  • Translate design intent into accurate, commercially viable packaging adaptations.

About You

You'll be an experienced adaptive designer or artwork professional with a passion for packaging, branding, and technical excellence.

Skills & Experience required for an Adaptive Packaging Designer:

  • Proven experience in adaptive design, packaging design, or artwork production.
  • Strong understanding of packaging formats, print processes, and production requirements.
  • Experience adapting creative concepts across multiple SKUs, ranges, and formats.
  • Excellent typography, layout, and visualisation skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain brand guidelines, range reviews, and adaptive documentation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of efficient design delivery.
  • Confident problem-solver who can challenge briefs and identify practical solutions.
  • Experience preparing professional client presentations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous mentoring or team support experience.
