As a Partners Manager (Microsoft) in Kainos, you will be responsible for building Kainos’ business through the development of deep relationships with strategic partners, particularly Microsoft, and driving new business across Kainos’ offerings and verticals. You will be responsible for the success of the aspects of the partnership/alliance for which you have been given responsibility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Kainos as a business – unearthing leads and opportunities through your own relationships and supporting Kainos Business Development and delivery teams to build their respective trusted relationships.
  • Providing Business Development Leadership – assisting in the development of partner plans, including definition and agreement of successful outcomes against revenue targets.
  • Putting deals together – supporting Business Development colleagues to put together deals that meet sales, revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Being a trusted partner and advisor for our customers – understanding the partner organisation and applying a consultative selling approach.
  • Building and developing strategic partnerships – maintaining strategic relationships with partners at all levels.
  • Being an external Kainos ambassador – promoting the culture, values and behaviours that make Kainos unique.
  • Working as part of a team – leading and leveraging a wide range of people within Kainos.
  • Creating a fully equipped partnership – ensuring Kainos has the right competencies, skills, and partnerships.
  • Putting people first and developing others – managing, coaching and developing a small number of staff.

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledgeable in the business development process and deal commercials.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Technology experience and awareness of technology trends.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital services concepts and markets.
  • Ability to operate in a highly competitive environment.
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines.

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience of delivering and/or selling digital services of scale and complexity for at least five years.
  • Knowledge or experience in CRM.
  • An appreciation and knowledge of technology delivery, agile methodologies, etc.
