SALARY: £28,000 - £31,000
Main Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities
As a Graduate Workday SMART Consultant at Kainos, you will work as part of a global team supporting our cloud-based Smart™ Automated Testing, Audit and Shield Applications across our worldwide customer base. You will provide support to customers as part of the Kainos Smart™ Gold Service, enabling customers to maximise value from the Kainos Smart™ Product Suite by:
- On-boarding new customers and providing Business-as-Usual support for our Smart™ products (including Smart™ Test, Smart™ Audit and Smart™ Shield).
- Liaising directly with customers on a regular basis as part of the Smart™ Gold Service.
- Performing analysis on customer test coverage to recommend enhancements and improvements that provide additional customer value.
- Designing, building, troubleshooting and performing Quality Assurance on Smart™ test packs. From initial discovery of the customer’s configuration, helping define the scope of appropriate tests and building test packs in Kainos Smart™ to balance efficiency and added customer value.
- Training to transfer knowledge of the Smart™ Test, Audit and Shield Applications to customer teams and colleagues.
- Contributing to Continuous Improvement by suggesting new features and liaising with development on features, fixes, and testing.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements
- Currently studying towards, or already obtained, at least a Level 6 bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical and/or business subject (e.g., IT/Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Human Resources, Economics).
- Excellent customer focus, with experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances and customer needs.
- Clear and effective communicator (written and verbal). Ability to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise, plan workload and meet key deadlines.
- Ability to apply relevant standards and procedures to ensure high quality and accuracy.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong teamwork skills, including ability to take direction from others.
- Capable of working within remote teams and alongside customers, as well as on individual tasks with limited supervision.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn generative technologies (e.g., Generative AI tools) to drive innovation and improve processes.
Desirable
- Knowledge of trends in information technology and quality assurance, especially cloud computing and SaaS concepts.
- Experience in a Software Application Support Environment.
- Experience with the Workday Application Suite.

Working arrangements: This role is hybrid. Upon joining, you will be expected to work in your contracted office for 2 days. During the duration of ‘SMART School’, these days may be fixed.
