Our Kainé Youth Expansion programme aims to increase access to free, inclusive youth activities, giving young people the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive.
This includes establishing Kainé Youth Collective Juniors, a central Girls Can… session and a youth club.

- Recruit and support young people aged 10–18 years for Kainé Youth Collective Juniors who will act as a leadership team to steer Kainé’s work with this age group.

Role Overview
The Project Worker will help deliver and manage these youth programmes, working closely with participants, partner organisations, and project teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth projects.
- Engage with young people aged 10–18, ensuring their needs and voices shape activities.
- Liaise with schools, local organisations, and partners to recruit participants.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and monitoring information for project stakeholders.
- Help coordinate workshops, group sessions (including via Teams), and events.
- Identify opportunities for young people to gain skills, meet decision‑makers, and share experiences.
- Support funding opportunities and manage project income and expenditure.
- Support and, where required, lead administrative staff in their work to ensure smooth project operations.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
- Attend meetings, supervision sessions, and training as required.
- Promote projects within the community and identify potential opportunities for additional work.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Project Manager or Board of Directors.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with children, young people, or community groups.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
