We're hiring a Head of Sales (on behalf of a client). I'm working with a company building a governed, agentic AI platform that lets the world's largest regulated organisations run AI agents in their own environment, log everything those agents do, and attribute cost back to a budget line. They exited stealth in June 2026 with £6m ARR, 30+ people, and six enterprise customers signed within three months serving pharma, financial services, and telecoms enterprises with 5,000+ employees, running on HPE Private Cloud AI and Nvidia DGX systems. This is an opportunity to shape the future of sovereign enterprise AI.

About the role

Full ownership of revenue as Head of Sales. You'll sell and lead in equal measure, personally carrying a pipeline and individual target alongside your team's collective number.

What you'll do

  • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise platform deals, from prospecting to close
  • Sell to CIO/CTO/CDO buyers at regulated enterprises
  • Run discovery workshops and proof-of-value engagements
  • Build pipeline through outbound, partner co-sell, and events
  • Work with Pre-Sales/SA on technical proposals, including air-gapped/on-prem scenarios
  • Codify a repeatable sales playbook from your own deals
  • Hire and manage the growing sales team, owning the headcount roadmap
  • Own forecasting, pipeline reviews, and quota attainment
  • Contribute to GTM strategy and pricing at the leadership level

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • 9+ years of B2B enterprise tech sales to regulated industries, with a track record of personally closing high-value, multi-month deals
  • Consultative sales experience: discovery, proof-of-value, ROI modelling
  • Proven people management
  • A genuine startup hunter mentality

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience selling AI/ML, data platforms, or cloud services to pharma, financial services, or telecoms
  • Partner co-sell experience with SIs or hyperscalers
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI governance, data sovereignty, and the EU AI Act
