Due to internal promotion we have amazing opportunities available for experienced Maintenance Engineers to join our client based in the Wirral. As integral members of the Engineering Team, you will ensure the best performance and dependability of Manufacturing equipment, contributing to both safety and efficiency across all site assets. Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Bromborough Salary: Highly competitive package Shifts: 2 Days, 2 Nights – 4 off Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform both planned and unplanned Maintenance activities to high standards, ensuring safety at all times. * Maintain all site assets to meet stringent site requirements and ensure their continuous availability. * Provide comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical support for all assets and projects, validated by the site Engineering Management team. * Ensure optimum performance of manufacturing plants and equipment at the best value cost and effective use of resources. * Maintain and enhance Engineering standards across the site by offering your expert support and insights. * Positively influence plant reliability through hands-on interventions in improvement activities, Maintenance procedures, and during plant stoppages. * Champion a culture of safety and quality, actively participating in audits and customer technical visits, and leading your department in these efforts. It would be highly advantageous to have experience within Food Process Machinery The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of ONC/NVQ in an Engineering related discipline, you will also ideally have completed an apprenticeship or an equivalent formal training programme in installation and maintenance that includes relevant practical experience. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to take direction and challenge in a professional manner along with proven experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installations
