The Opportunity
As a Thermal Insulation Apprentice, you will aid the insulation team in carrying out insulation duties, ensuring safe and efficient insulation operations in line with client requirements, while gaining an industry recognised qualification.
Due to site requirements, you must be 18 years of age or above to be considered for this role.
How You Will Make An Impact
- You will attend college in 2-week block intervals to gain the L3 Apprentice standard for Commercial Thermal Insulation Technician, which includes Functional Skills L2 in Maths and English (if L4 GCSEs not gained), Employer Rights and Responsibilities, PASMA, and Asbestos Awareness.
- Applying insulation materials
- Applying sheet metal and various finishes to pipework and ductwork
- Fabricating cladding materials
- Identification of risks
