We are looking for an Asbestos Operative to join our Sellafield team on a permanent basis.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Carry out all asbestos related tasks, including removal and disposal of materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Record work activity carried out in relation to all asbestos tasks and any disposed materials.
  • Carry out encapsulation (including the building of tunnelling/tenting) and the necessary air testing and recording.
  • To be responsible for own compliance to the Company’s Health & Safety Procedures and Health & Safety legislation.

What You Will Bring

  • Manual handling experience, first aid awareness, PASMA training, confined spaces, and working at heights experience would be desirable.
