Asbestos Operative – Full Time / Part Time: Full-Time

Base Rate (Hourly): 16.95 GBP

The Opportunity

As an Asbestos Operative, you will carry out any asbestos related work as indicated by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all asbestos related tasks, including removal and disposal of materials in accordance with regulations
  • Record work activity carried out in relation to all asbestos tasks and any disposed materials
  • Carry out encapsulation (including the building of tunnelling/tenting) and the necessary air testing and recording
  • To be responsible for own compliance to the Company\\\'s Health & Safety Procedures and Health & Safety legislation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience is asbestos removal
  • Asbestos Operative certificate, asbestos medical certificate, face-fits

Desirable

  • Manual handling, first aid, PASMA training, confined spaces, working at heights
