The Opportunity
We are recruiting TIEs to support a planned shutdown at Peterhead Power Station. The work will commence from late May and run until late August. As a TIE, you will be responsible for carrying out insulation duties and tasks competently and safely in accordance with training, skills and the specification as instructed and directed by supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Stripping and refitting
- Measure and fabrication
- Working against insulation standards and specifications to comply with the assessment and plan of work
- Following method statements and risk assessments
- Actively engage in a positive safety culture, promoting safe working practices and intervening when appropriate.
Requirements of role:
- Time served thermal insulation engineer
- TICA card – in date
- 7 day working week. 10hr shifts. 12 day working fortnight.
