We are looking for a Planner to join our team in Govan, Glasgow on a permanent basis. Based on site, you will be working alongside the Project Manager and operational team to analyze, prepare, modify, administer, interpret, update, advise upon, and share schedules of work on the Type 26 project.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Support the project manager and operational team in the successful planning and control of project delivery using a range of planning and reporting tools.
- Ensure the project reporting requirements are met for both internal and client stakeholders.
- Work with the project team to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resources.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the project and address planning issues that arise and adapt the plan to ensure project delivery.
- Support the production of ever-changing planning scenarios on the site.
- Liaise with the client’s operational and category management teams and ensure the progress of the project runs to time scales and cost plans agreed.
- Prepare and develop effective project planning schedules, reporting tools and project controls using Primavera P6 and Excel spreadsheets.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and, with a lean and continuous improvement ethos, ensure that the quality of the service (internally and externally) is developed and improved.

- Knowledge of NEC3 and its application to the programme.
- Experience with Primavera P6 (minimum intermediate level and a relevant qualification).
- Experience working on major construction works packages.
- Working knowledge of CDM and experience in the nuclear industry is desirable but not essential.
