Responsibilities

• Raise PORs for goods and services ensuring approval in line with DOA.
• Expedite PORs to ensure lead times are met.
• Issue RFQs
• Invoice query resolution.
• Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop relationships, understand requirements and project pipeline.
• Be a champion for the function, providing guidance and support to site teams for all aspects of supply chain.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisation, work prioritisation and negotiating skills.
• Proactivity and the ability to work using your own initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Accuracy in processing data and information.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
• Previous experience in a similar Supply Chain role.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Supply Chain best practice .
• Experience of Contract Management and Risk Management.

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Supply Chain Team at KAEFER Head Office in Newcastle. You will be working within the Supply Chain team to support KAEFER in achieving our mission to be most reliable and efficient provider of technical industrial services. The primary focus of this role is to procure goods and services quickly and accurately to ensure operations are maintained across the business with a focus on QCD.,
