As a Thermal Insulation Apprentice, you will be responsible for aiding the insulation team in carrying out insulation duties, ensuring the company's insulation operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in line with our client requirements, to gain an industry recognised qualification.

As a KAEFER Thermal Insulation apprentice you will be required to attend college in 2‑week block intervals whilst gaining the L3 Apprentice standard for Commercial Thermal Insulation Technician, which includes Functional Skills L2 in Maths and English if L4 GCSEs not gained, Employer Rights and Responsibilities, PASMA and Asbestos Awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying insulation materials
  • Applying sheet metal and various finishes to pipework and ductwork
  • Fabricating cladding materials
  • Identification of risks
