About the Role

As an Associate Consultant (Analytics), you’ll help deliver market research and strategic insights using a blend of quantitative and qualitative approaches. You will:

  • Gather and analyse data to uncover trends and answer client questions, with training to guide your approach.
  • Learn and apply analytical techniques to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Support research delivery—from drafting surveys and discussion guides to conducting interviews and quality checking data.
  • Communicate insights clearly, creating compelling slides, visuals, and short narratives that help clients make decisions.
  • Collaborate in project teams, building strong relationships with colleagues and clients and delivering high quality work on time.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen KAE’s brand, culture, and business performance.

Who We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have either:

  • A Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Economics).

or

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or above) plus ~1 year of work experience post graduation or internship/sandwich year experience — ideally in a research or analytical capacity.

You should also bring:

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills; curiosity to ask smart questions and a desire to learn new methods.
  • Familiarity with Excel and basic data visualisation, along with an interest in statistical analysis and learning new data tools.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), confident engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Experience using PowerPoint for creating presentations and visualising data through charts and graphics.
  • Organisation, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset; comfortable in fast paced teams.
  • Alignment with KAE values: work together, care and share, stay curious, choose courage.
  • Willingness to commute and work at our London (Farringdon) office at least 3 days per week.

What We Offer

  • Base salary: ÂŁ35,000, plus discretionary performance related bonus.
  • Comprehensive benefits (including pension, life insurance, private medical insurance, and a cash health plan).
  • Enjoy flexible hours, a hybrid working model, active social clubs, and short Fridays during summer.
  • We’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion: your voice will be heard, and your progression will be transparent and fair.

Our Application Process

We aim to make the process transparent and supportive, so you know what to expect:

  • Online Application: Fill out our short application questionnaire and upload your CV.
  • Online Assessment: If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to complete an online psychometric assessment.
  • Talent Partner Interview: Successful candidates will have a conversation with our Talent Partner about their skills and experience.
  • Video Interview: If you progress, you’ll be invited to a video interview focused on your capabilities and fit for the role.
  • Face-to-Face Interview: The final stage is an in-person interview where we’ll further assess your consulting skills and potential.
