We have an excellent opportunity for a Yard Operative to join a leading scaffold/equipment rental company serving the service industry. With significant growth over the last years, this company can offer excellent support, training and career prospects to the right candidate.
Working within the yard, you will play a key part in this company's fast-paced scaling and global growth. As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Inspecting, checking and preparing scaffolding and rigging equipment before they get despatched to customers.
- Scanning equipment into the system.
- Storing returned equipment.
- Heavy lifting, manual handling, loading and unloading.
Experience required for the Yard Operative:
- Previous experience as a Yard Operative within the logistics/warehouse or construction industry.
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy manual handling duties.
- Forklift driving experience or licence would be an advantage, however not essential.
- Experience as a scaffolder or within the construction/building industry would also be advantageous, however not essential.
