Electrical Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for a Electrical Technician/Inspector to join a leading equipment rental company serving the service industry

Working with and learning on a wide spectrum of rigging equipment, The Electrical Technician will play a key part in this company's fast paced scaling and global growth.
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
Inspection, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of rigging, lifting equipment and chain hoists.
To fault find issues on a range of equipment including some three phase appliances/power distribution systems.
Broad testing of completed repairs (including PAT) before managing the return to stock.
Work with the inventory team to ensure stock repair supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.
Understanding the priorities of the incoming repair stock and deciding on the most cost-efficient repair options
Experience required for the Electrical Technician
Experience and able to test and prepare three phase electrical equipment
Experience with rigging, lifting equipment or chain hoists would be a distinct advantage, however not essential
Physically fit and able to carry manual handling duties
Technical qualifications would be an advantage, however, not essential
