Junior Quality Inspector £27-30K + Overtime + Good benefits We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Mechanical/Quality Inspector to join a leading equipment rental company serving the service industry. You will be responsible for inspecting the equipment and its accessories to ensure they are safe, correctly identified and suitable for continued service Quality Inspectors Duties Carrying out thorough inspections in accordance with relevant department procedures and inspection criteria. Identifying wear, damage, deformation and other defects. Checking equipment identification and maintaining traceability. Taking measurements where required using suitable calibrated equipment. Recording inspection results accurately. Passing only equipment that meets the required acceptance criteria. Clearly identifying and segregating failed equipment. Reporting unusual defects, recurring problems and equipment concerns. Maintaining a safe, clean and organised inspection area. Using inspection tools and equipment correctly. Supporting department priorities and maintaining a productive inspection workflow Experience required for the Junior Quality Inspector position Experience in tools or equipment inspection gained at equipment/tool hire, rental or engineering/manufacturing environment is highly desirable (advantageous not essential) Excellent IT skills including Excel and inventory tracking systems Able to work in a challenging and high-pressured environment; Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and hard working; Clear, confident and precise communicator whether written or verbal; Excellent attention to details To apply, or to find out about any other Mechanical Inspector or Quality Inspector roles with Kadtech Recruitment, please apply!
