The world of work is changing forever - not just where it happens, but how and why. At Kadence, we're building the operating system for hybrid work, helping organisations coordinate people, places, and projects so everyone can do their best work, wherever they are. A big part of that is giving every customer an accurate, interactive digital map of their offices. That's where this role comes in. You'll take real-world office layouts and recreate them as precise, interactive floorplans inside our product - the foundation that powers desk booking, space management, and workplace analytics for over 500 organisations. Backed by world-class investors, with established teams in Belfast, London, and Salt Lake City, we're growing fast. If you take pride in getting the details exactly right and want a front-row seat in a fast-scaling startup, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Recreate customers’ real-world office layouts as accurate, to-scale digital floorplans in Sketch, working from supplied PDFs, images, and architectural drawings.
  • Build each plan precisely – walls, furniture, labels, desks, offices, and meeting rooms – following Kadence’s grouping, naming, and colour conventions so every floorplan imports and renders correctly in-product.
  • Use our Space Mapper plugin to map each desk and space to the correct record from the platform’s data export.
  • Work through floorplan requests from our Jira board, managing your own queue and turnaround times.
  • Optimise and export floorplans as SVGs, upload them to customer accounts, and QA each plan in the live product – troubleshooting grouping, perimeter, and interaction issues until everything displays and behaves correctly.
  • Keep our floorplan master files, customer folders, and versions tidy and correctly named, so the team can always find the latest source.
  • Spot recurring issues and suggest improvements to the templates, plugins, and process to make the pipeline faster and more reliable.

What you bring:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, precise way of working – you notice when something is a fraction out of place or a layer is in the wrong group, and it bothers you until it’s fixed.
  • Comfort with vector or design software – Sketch ideally, but Figma, Illustrator, or similar is a great starting point. We’ll train you on our specific workflow; what matters is that you pick up tools quickly and work neatly within them.
  • Good spatial reasoning – you can read a messy architectural drawing and reproduce it accurately and to scale.
  • Happy to follow a well-defined process consistently, while staying alert to when something looks wrong and needs a second look.
  • Organised and self-managing – you can run your own ticket queue and hit deadlines without close supervision.
  • Comfortable with everyday digital tools: file management, simple spreadsheets/CSVs, and a task board like Jira.
  • A clear communicator who asks questions and flags blockers early.
  • Genuine care for producing accurate, high-quality work, and an eagerness to learn.

Nice to have:

  • Hands‑on experience with Sketch specifically.
  • Familiarity with SVGs or basic vector file structure.
  • An interest in workplace/space management, real estate, or proptech.

What we offer you:

  • A front-row seat in a fast-scaling, early-stage startup.
  • Work that has a direct, visible impact on every customer’s experience of the product.
  • A passionate and fun team that is quickly expanding in Belfast and beyond.
  • We embrace hybrid working – collaborate from home or make use of our sleek office in the heart of Belfast city centre.
  • A MacBook Pro and any kit you need to do precise, high-quality work comfortably.
  • Regular company socials, including an annual offsite to socialize with colleagues in person.
  • 5 weeks’ holiday per annum (plus public holidays), and a flexible work/life balance.
  • Cycle2Work scheme.
  • Salary £26,000.
