About The Role
You step into a role where a lot is already in motion. The UK has a strong position in life sciences and health, with close collaboration between universities, research institutions and industry. This continues to drive demand for buildings that support complex and fast‑growing organisations. At the same time, new projects are underway and space within existing buildings is becoming available. The portfolio is expanding, and with that comes the need for someone who can actively drive leasing activity.
As Leasing Manager, you are in the middle of this. You manage deals, work with occupiers and agents, and help shape how space is brought to the market. You have experience leasing laboratory, technical or office space for science and innovation sectors and are used to managing transactions independently. That is important, as you step into an active portfolio where conversations and opportunities are already in progress. Some spaces are ready to lease. Others still need to be aligned with what a tenant requires. You look beyond the initial request and translate this into a solution that works in practice, both commercially and operationally.
Kadans Science Partner develops and operates buildings for knowledge‑intensive organisations. These include laboratories, cleanrooms, research facilities and office space for companies in life sciences, technology and R&D. We work with tenants who often have specific requirements for their space. This is reflected in how buildings are designed, delivered and managed. In the UK, we have locations in London, Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester, Stevenage and Glasgow. The portfolio includes both existing buildings and new developments, across different stages from early planning through to completion.
In This Role, You:
- Manage leasing transactions from first contact through to completion
- Prepare and negotiate Heads of Terms
- Drive occupancy and revenue across your portfolio
- Contribute to how buildings are positioned and brought to market
- Work across both existing assets and development projects
- Represent our business at industry events both in the property and science sector
- Translate occupier requirements into workable, deliverable solutions
- Work closely with development, asset management and marketing teams
