Are you ready to be part of something amazing? Join us in revolutionising the budget accommodation sector at Kabannas. We are currently seeking vibrant individuals to join our team at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hotel. We have full time (5 days out of 7) and part time (3 days out of 7) housekeeping roles available, typically working 11am to 3pm, with the possibility of a later start or longer shifts at weekends. Want more hours? We've got you covered. In addition to your housekeeping shifts, there are regular opportunities to pick up extra paid hours working across our Front of House team, including the bar and restaurant. This is perfect for team members who enjoy variety, want to increase their earnings, or gain experience in hospitality service roles.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and arranging guest rooms to brand standards
- Changing linen on beds and bunk beds
- Cleaning and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets
- Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs
- Assisting with cleanliness of public areas and bar
- Carrying out deep or periodic cleans per schedule
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is a plus but not essential.
- No specific qualifications are required—just a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humour!
- This housekeeping role includes tasks of a physical nature throughout the shift including extensive bending, lifting and carrying.

We're Hiring:
We are looking to fill vacancies in full and part-time roles, with a minimum of 12 hours per week, working up to 3 days from 7 for part-time roles and 5 days from 7 for full-time roles, on a rota basis. Due to the nature of the business, weekend availability is required.
You must have the right to work in the UK for this role. A passion for hospitality and high standards. Experience with hotel, hostel, or aparthotel operations would be an advantage.
