We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join one of our clients' manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Pay: From £14.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery according to specifications and technical drawings
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired angles and dimensions with accuracy
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Utilise hand tools, tooling, and measuring devices such as calipers and gauges effectively
- Assist in the assembly process when required, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and secured
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
