We are currently recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver on a temp-to-perm basis for a well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for stable, weekday work with no nights out.
Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 flatbed truck
- Internal deliveries only
- No handball, however drivers must be confident using ratchet straps
- Involves loading and unloading (with assistance/equipment)
- Some warehouse duties included as part of the role
- Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
- Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with minimum 2 years experience
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous flatbed experience needed
- Confident with load securing and ratchet strapping
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist with warehouse duties
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
