We are looking for an SAP Procurement Lead with S/4 HANA Public Cloud experience. This is an initial 3-month contract starting ASAP, with a strong likelihood of extensions depending on project progress.
Environment: S/4HANA Public Cloud – very strong hands-on experience essential
Location: Hybrid - UK based with onsite travel to South Yorkshire and Warwickshire for workshops as required by the project demand.
Expenses: Travel expenses covered when onsite
Scope of the role: The focus is on leading Procurement design and delivery within an S/4HANA Public Cloud programme, ensuring procurement processes are aligned with standard SAP capabilities while meeting business requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading SAP Procurement (MM) workstreams across an S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation
- Running procurement discovery and design workshops onsite with business stakeholders
- Defining and shaping procurement operating models, sourcing processes, purchasing flows, and supplier collaboration approaches
- Ensuring end-to-end procurement processes are aligned with S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices and standard functionality
- Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and other functional leads to ensure strong cross-functional integration
- Supporting the design of direct and indirect procurement processes
- Translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions within the Public Cloud framework
- Advising stakeholders on standardisation and process improvements enabled by S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Contributing to solution design, functional specifications, and delivery planning
- Acting as the Procurement SME within the programme, supporting both design decisions and delivery discussions
