We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong FI functional knowledge to support an SAP ECC 6.08 on-premise environment. This is a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop using ABAP-OO, including BADIs, IDOCs (extensions), web services, and interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems
- Enhance and support UserExits and workflows
- Apply functional FI knowledge to review and challenge designs, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices
- Support configuration across FI areas such as company code, controlling area, account assignments, tax codes, and (ideally) asset accounting
- Contribute to ongoing project work (minimum of 3 FI project involvements required)
- Provide 3rd level support across FI BAU activities when needed
Requirements:
- Strong ABAP development experience within SAP ECC (6.08 essential)
- Proven experience across both technical development and FI functional areas
- Hands-on involvement in at least 3 SAP FI projects
- Ability to work closely with functional and technical teams
Working Setup:
- Primarily remote role
- Mandatory onsite presence every Tuesday in Hertfordshire
- Additional onsite days may be required depending on project needs
- Working hours aligned to Central European Time (CET)
