Role Description
K4S Limited is currently seeking a full-time Chiller Engineer to join our team in Reading / Milton Keynes / Swindon And around the M4 corridor area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of chiller units and related HVAC equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller plant equipment, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing problems with various models of chillers, collaborating with other team members on repairs and installations, and providing on-site support to customers when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems and chillers.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, and their related systems.
- Detailed understanding of HVAC system behaviours and functions.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and architectural wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with the use of manual and electronic hand tools and other diagnostic equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is a plus.
