Looking for a new challenge that offers progression? My client is recruiting for an Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team.

The Company

A respected construction company known for its commitment to quality and professional development. The opportunity to work on exciting construction projects across various sectors such as education, commercial, healthcare, industrial, defence, retail and leisure up to £30m.

The Role

Joining this small pre-construction team, you will have a big impact on input and results, along with the opportunity of a development plan to a Senior Estimator. The successful candidate will be managing the cost plans and pricing of single and 2-stage tenders under JCT D&B forms of contract. You will help produce Bills of Quantities (BOQs), take offs, full cost plans, and target cost reporting, as well as occasional pre-construction surveying duties.

Experience

  • 1+ years experience in an estimating or construction-based role
  • Experience or knowledge of conquest would be advantageous
  • Construction experience of working on a similar build portfolio or projects
