They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team delivering their small works projects up to £2m. Specialists in multiple sectors, including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Residential, and Education, they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor with great attention to detail and negotiation skills to support delivering high-quality construction projects.
The role involves being part of a fast-track environment where a can-do attitude is key to delivering projects. You will be responsible for the commercial performance of the project and become an integral member of a dynamic team where relationships internally and externally with the supply chain are key to project success. You will take commercial control of projects from conception stage through to agreement of final accounts and will be actively engaged throughout the project.
Desirable Experience:
- IT literate and experienced in working with MS Office and other applications and Cost Control Systems (e.g., COINS)
- 1+ Years of Construction within a commercial surveying role
- Degree Qualification
- Good awareness and application of JCT and NEC Contracts
