Are you a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? We are seeking an experienced School Nurse to join our dedicated team.

  • Healthcare Provision and Supervision: Manage and supervise Health Centre, providing first aid and healthcare to students. Care for sick students, coordinating further care with parents or hospitals as required.
  • Health Monitoring and Management: Review, monitor, and accurately record the health status of new boarders and day pupils in line with the national Child Health Programme. Develop and implement in-school care plans for pupils with long-term conditions or additional health requirements. Ensure all student medical records are kept up-to-date and accurately maintained in the school database. Advise on the development of health-related policies and support emergency planning, including outbreak responses.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Collaborate with the safeguarding team to identify and support pupils at risk of abuse or neglect. Assist the wellbeing hub in implementing effective welfare plans for vulnerable pupils. Monitor student health patterns and refer concerns to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse with valid qualifications and licensing. Proven experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and healthcare confidentiality. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external health agencies.
